Mr. Brian J. Scroggs grew up in the small town of Willard, MO and always wanted to be a film director. He attended the University of Missouri and earned his bachelor’s degree in English and Religious Studies in 1996. After college, he joined the Marine Corps Reserves and moved to California to fulfill his dream.
Once married and ready to raise a family, he set up roots back in Missouri and started working for Wyndham Vacation Resorts in 2006. He became a President’s Club winner for two consecutive years and moved into management where he won Manager of the Year. In 2010 he moved to Diamond Resorts International where he won the Chairman’s Club award all 4 years with the company. He eventually became a Director of Sales in Williamsburg, VA.
After 8 years in the industry, Brian started meeting more and more owners who could no longer afford their timeshare. Maintenance fees had outgrown the cost of renting a condo on the open market, and owners were trapped in a deeded property. Availability had dropped drastically and most owners had no idea how to use their timeshare effectively. Vast knowledge, experience, and months of research prompted Brian to start Vacation Consulting Services, a company where timeshare owners can get the attention they need and the assistance they deserve. He has helped thousands of clients with their ownerships, and has taught them to use their equity to get into RCI programs with no maintenance fees, liquidate their deeds, use debt relief, and plan an exit strategy.
Brian believes going to large meetings where it can be difficult to get the individual attention you need or going back to your resort where they are serving their own interest is not the way to get the answers you need. He is not against timeshare, but if you are going to own it, you need to make it a value to you and your family. It’s a debt and you need to have a plan. Brian will sit down with you one on one and go over your ownership personally, which the resorts will not do. Customer service may be a lost art in the timeshare world, but it doesn’t have to be.
