Dane Braden grew up in Branson, MO. He comes from a family of entrepreneurs and business owners. Because he was a very imaginative child and his dreams were constantly evolving, growing up he wanted to be every job in the world.
Dane started selling timeshare when he was 19, and immediately became hooked. He loved being able to help families travel and reconnect. Of course, he also enjoyed the travel benefits he received as well!
After a few years in the timeshare industry, Dane started noticing many of the same problems: rising maintenance fees, lack of availability, unethical sales practices. Thinking it may have been a problem with the resort where he worked, he moved to another company. After switching resorts, he realized these were prevalent issues across the entire industry. Even though he still loved the concept of timeshare and helping people travel & gain new experiences, he knew he had to make a change. He joined VCS so he could continue doing what he loved while actually helping people.
At home, Dane enjoys spending time with his family. They taught him the value of hard work, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. He also enjoys spending time with his cat, Hermia Jane. His hobbies include: real estate sales and investments, golf, travel, self-improvement, boating, motorcycles, cars, skydiving, exercising, and writing / playing music. He even once had a band that traveled, played gigs, and cut studio recordings. He also used to do private contracting with the government and the military!
