Eddie grew up in Del Rio, a small town located on the Rio Grande in Texas. He played sports from the age of 4, which Eddie says taught him the meaning of hard work and what it means to be on a “team.” Eddie graduated top 10 in his class and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his B.B.A. focusing in Business Management.
Eddie began working in the timeshare industry in 2007 with Wyndham Vacation Resorts on their frontline sales team. He remembers it as a joy being able to provide families the ability to use timeshare as a way of creating memories.
After a couple years, he left to join other ventures but only stayed away for a few years. Eddie went back to work with Wyndham in 2012 in New Orleans in the in-house sales department, where typically the best part of this job was hearing the good things about the program from owners. Unfortunately Eddie recalls, this seldom happened as most owners were experiencing some sort of problems. Whether this was availability, their maintenance fees or the concern of passing a debt to their children. Believing this was a situation attached to a Wyndham ownership, Eddie decided to make a change and joined the in-house department of Diamond Resorts International in Branson, Mo in 2014.
After a year it was clear the problems were not simply a part of a single ownership, but rather the industry. Again a change was needed, so Eddie joined Vacation Consulting Services and hasn’t looked back.
Whether you are experiencing problems with your timeshare or absolutely love your timeshare and just need questions answered to make it more useful, Eddie would love to help and looks forward to assisting you in your timeshare needs.
