Niki grew up in Marshfield, MO playing 4 sports year around and dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player and coach. Niki and her high school basketball team were later inducted into the MO Sports Hall of Fame due to their 4 straight state championships and for breaking the Missouri record with a 102 game winning streak.
She and her husband Dustin have been married for almost 18 years. They have 2 kids and currently 2 hunting dogs – although throughout their marriage they’ve had many animals including mules, chickens, pigs, fish, turtles and more. Niki stays busy in her spare time playing sports, and attending her children’s sporting events.
Niki received a full scholarship to play basketball in college, where her dreams changed and she realized she had a passion for business and technology. She earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management from Evangel University and spent 7 years climbing the ladder at United Healthcare, until she became a mom and decided to stay home while her kids were small. When it was time to rejoin the workforce, Niki spent 9 years working as an elementary tech teacher where she passed on her love of technology by starting a curriculum that taught 1st through 4th graders how to program computers.
When asked why she joined VCS, Niki stated that when she learned how VCS helps people she knew it was an opportunity to be a part of something great.
